Towards 2027 the national annexes will be developed and implemented to the second generation of Eurocodes. The Nordic Steering Group for Harmonisation of Construction Regulation has identified this as an opportunity to reduce the negative climate- and resource impact from the construction sector, and, where feasible, seek Nordic harmonisation. The first phase of the programme, Nordic Sustainable Construction 2021-2024, gathered Nordic authorities and Eurocode experts to share considerations and experiences in the planning and development of the national annexes to the second generation of Eurocodes with relation to green benefits and Nordic harmonisation. The results of this were initial knowledge sharing pointing to several possibilities for further collaboration.
In this phase, Nordic Sustainable Construction 2025-2027, the Circularity work package works towards harmonisation and green benefits of selected national annexes to the second generation of Eurocodes.
