Harmonisation and Green Benefits of Selected National Annexes to the Eurocodes

Nordic Sustainable Construction has awarded the contract for establishing a Nordic network on knowledge sharing, green benefits and harmonisation of national annexes to the 2nd generation of Eurocodes. The project, led by Standards Norway, will bring together Nordic experts, authorities and standardisation bodies to identify opportunities for greater Nordic harmonisation and to support resource and climate optimisation in the construction sector.

 

Nordic Sustainable Construction has awarded the contract for developing a common Nordic framework to support the implementation of the second-generation Eurocode EN 1990-2 on the assessment of existing structures. The project is led by NTNU and brings together a consortium of Nordic research, industry and standardisation partners to develop a shared scientific basis for assessing existing buildings and infrastructure, helping to support resource efficiency and reduce the climate impact of construction.
