Efficient LCA processes and Building Information Modeling

 Following a tendering process, VTT has been commissioned to support the Nordic Sustainable Construction Climate Work Package by developing guidance for authorities on more efficient BIM-based LCA processes and analysing Nordic validation systems by spring 2027. 

The focus of the work will be on improving the efficiency and practicality of BIM-based LCA processes, with a particular emphasis on solutions that can support authorities. In addition, the work will also include an in-depth analysis of existing and emerging LCA validation systems in the Nordic countries, aiming to propose a Nordic compatible validation framework aligned with EU developments.
